Flinders Southbank Walkbridge

What Are You Looking At?

To be honest, if you do find this poem, you might have trouble working out what you’re looking at too. Take yourself along the footbridge linking Flinders Street Station with the Southbank complex and before you reach the Southbank side, go down the stairs to the former site of Clem’s Island, one of the quirkest locations for a cafe.  Even for a city like Melbourne, which prides itself on hiding its best locations from even the locals, this one is a little tricky. You’d probably have to remeber what it was like to be a youth up to no good to sniff it out. Randall $tephens certainly does.
