How to Get Around

The poems are organised into a series of six walks, each of which will take about 20 – 25 mins to complete, including listening time at each location.

Each walk can be downloaded as an album of mp3 files which you can add to your portable media device or mobile telephone. The locations are all separate tracks and if you play them in order, you’ll be ready to go!

Each walk is accompanied by a map - you can print out a copy of the pdf file to carry with you.

Just check out the Take a Walk section.

If you do find you’re getting a bit lost, however – why not ask a local Melburnian (they’re the people wearing black, apparently) for some helpful directions! That said, you might be feeling shy and perhaps you’d rather use a new/old fashioned map for some specific direction. There’s a link just below.

Equally, while the poems are designed to be taken as separate walks, you might want to check out all the poems that are available. If so – why not check out the new/old fashioned map of all the locations and download the all the sets of poems. We’re working on a new and improved way of sharing this big map with you – but in the mean time, we hope this helps get you around. Good luck!
